This qualification is aimed at those who wish to become a Paediatric First Aider in the workplace. The course offers instruction covering a broad range of emergency scenarios that can be faced by people responsible for the welfare of infants and children. Persons gaining this qualification will know that first aid is the responsibility of everyone involved in the working environment.

Commitment required
The course is run over a total of 12 hours (see full timetable). At least 6 hours of self directed study is also necessary for successful completion of this course. Certification requires 100% attendance.
Who should attend?
This course is recommended for anyone working, or preparing to work, in an early years environment. It is also very useful to anyone responsible for the safety of children. All candidates must be 16 or over.
